Fresh and Nutritious Summer Treat

Let us make Nachni or Ragi Ambil, A traditional Maharashtrian dish with a nutritious twist where it is also a dense and low calorie recipe. In Maharashtra, Ragi known as Nachni is a rich source of Calcium, Iron, Protein and Fiber. Thus it is a healthy recipe made in minutes and can be eaten by all age groups. Its also diabetic friendly and excellent for weight loss. Let us begin!

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Ragi flour: 2 tsp

  2. Buttermilk 200ml

  3. Green chili and ginger garlic paste as per taste.

  4. Salt and cumin powder as per taste.

PROCEDURE:

  1. Mix Ragi flour 2 tsp in 200 ml of buttermilk.

  2. Put the gas on medium flame and add green chili, ginger garlic paste, salt and cumin powder.

  3. Stir the mixture for 5-7 minutes, make sure no lumps are formed.

  4. Remove the mixture and enjoy the goodness.
